| Distribution description | Originally described from a locality in Papua New Guinea (1962), Platydemus manokwari has been recorded since in many islands of the Pacific Ocean, Australia, and, more recently, in Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Antilles, Florida in mainland USA and Asia in Hong Kong and Thailand. |
