| Notes on presence status | Gordon & Canepari (2008) revised Hyperaspis and stated that Hyperaspis donzeli is only known from Brazil and Paraguay. They described the new species H. pseudodonzeli and listed a paratype from Curaçao. However, they did not investigate a specimen from St. Eustatius. Which of the two, if any, is present on St. Eustatius is unclear (Colijn et al., 2020). |
