Notes on presence status | Previously reported as Sabal spec., Sabal mauritiiformis and Sabal cf. causiarum. Later described as a new species endemic for Bonaire and Curaçao, S. antillensis. In 2019, the Bonaire population was reported as another new species, S. lougheediana. |
