Dutch Caribbean Species Register

Since May 4th 2021 the Dutch Caribbean Species register is visible online at the GBIF webportal. In the dataset there are more than 15,000 taxonomic concepts, of which over 10,000 are animals, over 3,000 are plants, and the rest are chromists (mostly Foraminifera) and fungae. Both verbatim names (thus taxonomic as the way they are presented in DCSR, thus including vernacular names) and interpretated names by the GBIF taxonomic backbone are shown. The dataset can be downloaded on the website of GBIF or at Naturalis.
