  • Notes on presence status Pleurolucina leucocyma was previously recorded from Bonaire and Curaçao. Glover and Taylor (2016) introduced a new species for Curaçao, which is probably the species of Pleurolucina that occurs around the Dutch Caribbean Islands. Pleurolucina harperae has a distribution around southern America. Previous records of Pleurolucina leucocyma are therefore most likely misidentifications and belong to this species.
