Just before the end of the last year a new issue of Vita Malacologica was published by the Dutch Malacological Society. This issue has a special theme: "Dutch Caribbean Mollusca". The three long format articles in this issue cover the terrestrial molluscs of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, the marine molluscs of Saba, and the marine molluscs of Sint Eustatius. It also includes an extensive list of the marine molluscs of Sint Eustatius, collected during the Statia Marine Biodiversity Expedition of 2015. These publications contributed a large amount of new records for the Dutch Caribbean Islands, bringing the total diversity of molluscs on 1263 species. This makes molluscs the most diverse group of animals in the Dutch Caribbean Species Register.
